Planimetric map


-A planimetric map is a map that shows the overview (flat) of an area, that neglects height and vertical information.
- This type of map is showing the type of land and what its main purpose is. For example, if it is a developed area, vegetation, and if it has any water sources etc.

Mental Map


-Mental maps are imaginary diagrams people use to navigate through physical space (neighborhoods, cities or countries).
-In this specific mental map, a study was being do to verify how individuals recalled their surroundings where they live. The individuals were taken from different sections of Los Angeles, and then asked questions and then asked to "Free Call," their answers.
